Q. Do you have boarding facilities?
A. No. We provide in-home care, which is an alternative to a boarding facility.
Q. Do you offer Dog or Puppy Training?
A. Technically no. We offer Pet Sitting and Dog Walking. We will however implement and reinforce any training commands or routines you are currently working on with your dog. There are several reputable dog trainers in our area we can recommend if you are seeking training services.
Q. Why do I have to fill out forms for Pet Care Service?
A. By having a Service Agreement, we ensure a shared understanding of the rates and services we will be providing to your and our pet (s). One persons pets needs are different from another persons pets needs or requirements. This Information is necessary, needed and required to ensure we accomodate each visit safely and accurately. Initial Forms are filled out once, and are placed on file for future visits along with the Pet Profile forms which include facts for each pet as well as a veterinary release so that we can seek care in the event your pet becomes ill or injured while you are way.
Q. How will you discipline my pet, if necessary?
A. Daisy Dog Care believes in positive reinforcement for pets. We will never disclipine your dog in a physical manner. If there is a disciplinary problem, i.e. toilet training issues, aggression, etc., you will be informed of the incident(s) .
Q. What if I cancel my Pet Sitting or Dog Walking appointments that I set up with Daisy Dog Care?
A. We do understand that changes and cancellations will happen from time to time. Once we have scheduled and confirmed your appointment, a fee may apply for cancellation for time set aside for your appointment.
- Within 8 days of services: Cancellations may be made up to 8 days in advance of your scheduled service without charge.
- Fewer than 2-7 days prior to the first day of your scheduled service period: Cancellations made with fewer than 2-7 days of the beginning of pet sitting services will incur a fee of 20% of the total service. This equals a 80% refund.
- Within 0-48 hours of services: Cancellations within 0-48 hours of services will be non refundable and charged full price.
- Daily Walking/Monthly customers- calls made by 8:00AM the day of the walk may not be charged the full price.
